Katavi National Park
Katavi National Park is the third largest park in Tanzania with its vast floodplains, palm-fridge lake Chala and the Katuma river. Other than the rich birdlife with 400 species of birds recorded, Katavi boasts the greatest concentration of hippos and crocodiles. The park is also noted for its Miombo woodland and is home to buffalos, elephants, Leopards, lions and Zebras.
