The excursion includes gamedrives in Nairobi National Park and visit of Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

Nairobi National Park is located a short drive from Nairobi Central District. It is the only Wildlife Park close to the city and the first National Park to be gazette in Kenya in 1946. The park host four of the 'Big Five' (lion, Buffalo, leopard and rhino) and a home to over 100 mammal species such as eland, buffalo, zebra, giraffe and wildebeest with a diverse birdlife of over 400 bird species at least 20 of which are seasonal European migrants. The Park serves as a Major rhino sanctuary for breeding and restocking other parks in the country.

The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is located in Nairobi National Park. This no profit trust was established in 1977 by Daphne Sheldrick shortly after the death of her husband who served as an anti-poaching warden of Tsavo National Park. The Orphanage is well known globally for the rescuing and rehabilitation of baby elephants. They also handle veterinary cases and run mobile de-snaring operations.
