Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Day 1 - 1Day 1 - 2

You will be met at your Nairobi hotel by your local host together with your safari driver guide. After your safari briefing, you will depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy located on the leeward side of Mount Kenya. On the way, you will have a memorable stop at the Equator for photos before proceeding to the Conservancy. Check in at your camp and after lunch, visit the famous Sweetwaters Chimp Sanctuary—home to rescued chimpanzees from across Africa. This is followed by an afternoon game drive where you can spot the endangered black and white rhinos, lions, elephants, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2

Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Soysambu Conservancy

Day 2 - 1

Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for Soysambu Conservancy on the shores of Lake Elementaita, located on the floor of Kenya's Great Rift Valley. This lesser-known gem offers a more intimate wildlife experience away from the crowds. On arrival, check in at the camp followed by lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a guided birdwatching expedition in the conservancy. Lake Elementaita is a flamingo lake and home to over 400 bird species including pelicans, cormorants, and the greater and lesser flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3

Soysambu Conservancy – Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, check out of the camp and depart for the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve—Kenya's premier safari destination. The scenic drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley with spectacular views. On arrival, check in at your camp or lodge followed by lunch. After a short rest, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. The Masai Mara is home to the Big Five and hosts the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration from July to October. Dinner and overnight at camp or lodge.

Day 4

Masai Mara Game Reserve – Full Day

Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness incredible wildlife action including lion prides, cheetahs hunting, elephants, buffaloes, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their fascinating culture, customs, and way of life—a memorable experience for the whole family. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi Airport

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive back to Nairobi. The scenic 5-6 hour journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley with beautiful views. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be dropped at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight. Your unforgettable Kenya family safari adventure concludes with lifelong memories for the whole family.
