Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival – Samburu National Reserve


You will be met at your Nairobi hotel by your local host together with your safari driver guide. After your safari briefing, depart for Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya. On the way, stop at the Equator for photos. Arrive in time for check-in and lunch at your camp or lodge. Later in the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in Samburu National Reserve, known for its unique wildlife and stunning landscapes along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Dinner and overnight at the camp or lodge.
Samburu National Reserve – Full Day


Depart after breakfast for a full day of game drives in Samburu National Reserve with a picnic lunch in the park. Samburu is famous for the Samburu Special Five—species rarely found elsewhere: Grevy's zebra (the largest and most endangered zebra species), reticulated giraffe with its distinctive coat pattern, beisa oryx, the long-necked gerenuk, and Somali ostrich. The reserve is also home to elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and over 450 bird species. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Samburu National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park


Have an early breakfast and depart for your drive to Nyahururu with a lunch stop at Thomson Falls Panari Hotel. Thomson Falls is one of Kenya's most spectacular waterfalls, plunging 74 meters into a ravine. Later, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park located on the floor of Kenya's Great Rift Valley. On arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park en route to your hotel for check-in. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingo populations and endangered black and white rhinos. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru.
Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara Game Reserve


After breakfast, check out of the lodge and depart for the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival, check in at your camp or lodge followed by lunch. After a short rest, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. The Masai Mara is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and hosts the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration from July to October. Dinner and overnight at camp or lodge.
Masai Mara Game Reserve – Full Day


Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness incredible wildlife action including lion prides, cheetahs hunting, elephants, buffaloes, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their fascinating culture, customs, and way of life. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi Airport


After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive back to Nairobi. The scenic 5-6 hour journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley with beautiful views. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be dropped at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight. Your unforgettable 6-day Kenya safari adventure concludes with lifelong memories of Kenya's diverse wildlife and landscapes.
