Take the scenic route to the unknown
Spend a night in one of Nairobi’s best kept secrets: House of Waine.
The Manor is an 11 room boutique hotel tucked away in the leafy suburbs of Karen that combines traditional luxury with hints of Afro-Futurism to give you an unmatched experience compared any other city hotel.
As a homage to past and present explorers like yourself, we recommend you stay in the Safari Room. Your stay at the Manor will fuel your wanderlust as you get ready for your trip down south.
After breakfast at House of Waine, your Safari begins.
You will leave Nairobi and head to Tsavo West National Park. Separated by the construction of the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, the Tsavo twins make up one of the largest national parks in the world, covering a massive 22,000 Kilometers squared. Other than being a flora and fauna wonderland, Tsavo West National park is also home to the crystal clear waters of Mzima springs and Shetani Lava flow- a vast expanse of folded black lava that spreads as far as the eye can see. Most importantly, you’ll have arrived at Kipalo hills Safari Camp.
This amazing camp is tucked on the sides of Mbulia hills, commanding breathtaking 360• views of Mbulia conservancy, Mt Kilimanjaro and Mbulia hills. Kipalo which roughly translates to “The place to return again and again” in Taita language, is an amazing place to stay.
It’s time to leave Kipalo hills and head for Tana Delta for a once in a lifetime experience at H12’s Delta Dunes; “The wild place by the sea”.
The lodge is nested on Sand dunes that overlook Tana River’s Delta to the Indian Ocean, hence the name Delta Dunes. This location features a combination of both Beach and Ocean creating a setting as magical as Middle Earth on Lord of the Rings. It’s safe to say that this is Kenya’s best kept secret.
