Day 1: Ibis Styles , Westlands

On landing at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Ebis styles in Nairobi’s hippest part of town: Westlands to relax and ease of some of the Jet-lag.

Day 2 & 3: Mukima House, Laikipia

Deep in the heart of Laikipia, one of Kenya’s most spectacular big game viewing areas, stands the perfectly restored, colonial era Mukima House, with its twin gables, cedar framed windows and large, sweeping verandas overlooking the rolling lawns towards the house’s private dam, and in the distance, the snow capped peaks of Africa’s second highest mountain.

A dam in front of the house, fed by ground water from Mount Kenya, provides safe haven to many bird species, including egrets, ibis, storks, pelicans, various ducks and two breeding pairs of crested crane. A small herd of impala and bushbuck are breeding on the farm, while tree hyrax provide the appropriate night noises and the guinea fowl wander on the lawn.

Mukima has a resident peacock, leopard and caracal, with visiting hyenas. This will be your home for the next two days as you discover why Laikipia is unlike any other safari destination.

Day 4 & 5: Loldia House, Naivasha

After an amazing experience in Laikipia, head down to the stunning paradise that is Lake Naivasha. The views, serenity, birdlife and excursions to places like Crescent island and Hell’s Gate gorge are simply breathtaking.

The house at Loldia is an old settler house that takes you back in time to old Kenyan country life as you explore and discover the treasures of Naivasha.

Day 6 & 7: Naboisho conservancy, Basecamp Eagleview

Deep in the heart of Naboisho lies Basecamp Eagle view. Just as it’s name suggests, the camp gives you an eagle’s view of the Mara plains for an unparalleled game viewing experience from the camp. Living under canvas close to nature, is a welcome experience – away from the brick and concrete jungle.

Eagleview is the perfect place to discover your wild side just a few kilometers from the greatest wildlife theater on the planet: The wildebeest migration crossing at the Mara river and most importantly away from the touristy parts of the Mara.
